Mandatory Pontification

It's always nice to go to Local Good, look out the big windows, and take in the views of nature, especially in the wintertime when going outside is tough. I was thrilled to find that they also use Lemma beans, so their cortados are top-notch. Since I discovered Local Good in the fall of 2025, it's been my go-to for work, meet-ups, and bringing the kids. A recent addition, Local Good opened only in 2024. They have it all: coffee, outdoor areas to roam, beautiful trees, a designated quiet area for working, kids areas, a kids playground outside, warm and substantial food (empanadas), more than enough seating, ample parking, and pretty much everything one could want from a coffee shop. It's hard to overstate how solid they are. The one thing they are not is a craft coffee shop with truly unique drinks and beans. With that said, their model is unique to the area, and it's unfair to compare them to an independent local coffee roaster.
